summer vacation program for 3 - 6 year olds

Week Two - July 30th, 31st and Aug 1st (Tues, Wed, Thurs) 10:30 - 1:30
Sign up for one or two weeks of art classes!

Join us for this extremely popular summer class led by our awesome teachers, Janet and Judy Shea, who have been with Dot Art for over a decade! For three hours each class, children will play creatively and then enjoy their own ideas and skills with drawing, painting and collage. This is child centered learning environment offering a chance to explore materials in a friendly and inspiring art environment.

Located at The Walter Baker Lofts, 1231 Adams Street in Lower Mills section of Dorchester (side entrance at left of the building)
Tuition is $85 for each week and includes materials. Children bring their own lunch.
Classes limited to 12 students.






spring classes 2013 for 3 - 10 year olds

The Children’s Studio - ages 3 -5

Tuesdays and/or Fridays from 10:30am - 12:30. FRIDAY IS FULL!!
Our Tuesday Class will run for ten weeks from April 23rd - June 25th
Our Friday Class will run for eight weeks from May 10th - June 28th.

Tuition is $160 for the Tuesday session (10 weeks) and $130 for the Friday session (8 weeks)
This popular class features two wonderful and well loved teachers, Janet and Judy Shea, who have been with Dot Art for over a decade! For two hours each class, children will enjoy their own ideas and skills with drawing, painting, sculpture and collage. This is a drop off class.




Art In The Afternoons - ages 6 -11

Tuesdays from 3:45 pm - 5:45 pm beginning May 7th
at the Little House, 275 East Cottage Street in the Savin Hill/Columbia area of Dorchester
Tuition is $95 for 6 weeks (includes ALL materials and healthy snacks!)
Come join local artist and teacher Liz Carney for this wonderful two-hour class for children ages 6 - 10! Students will have the opportunity to explore painting, drawing and mixed media in a small group setting. This class encourages students to have fun while discovering their own visual style. We will work on landscapes, portraits, still life and abstraction! Students can get one on one and group feedback and learn about line, perspective, color, tone and other art concepts. With the beautiful Spring weather arriving, we will even enjoy painting in the park!




school partnerships

This Fall we are pleased to be providing after-school art classes with The Henderson School in Dorchester
to provide quality after-school programming in the visual arts. Every Tuesday and Thursday children
from 1st - 5th grades will hone their skills in Drawing and Painting with artworks culminating in a
