The Children’s Studio for ages 3 - 5. SPRING 2016
with Judy and Janet Shea at Baker Lofts in Lower Mills
7 Fridays from 10:30 - 12:30pm, May 6 - June 17
These will be 7 great weeks of creativity and exploration with Dot Art’s well loved and experienced teachers Janet and Judy Shae. Held at our vibrant studio at the beautiful and historic Walter Baker Lofts in Lower Mills, students will paint, draw, build and play in a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for a two hour class. All materials and snacks are provided. Scholarships and sliding scale are always available as well as second sibling discounts.
All classes take place at 1231 Adams Street in Lower Mills at the Walter Baker Artist Lofts (left side entrance).

$150 includes all materials and snacks.

Little Children’s Summer program 2016 - ages 3 - 6

Week One - July 12th, 13th and 14th (Tues, Wed, Thurs) 10:30 - 1:30
Week Two - July 19th, 20th and 21st (Tues, Wed, Thurs) 10:30 - 1:30
Sign up for one or two weeks of art classes!
Join us for this extremely popular summer class led by our awesome teachers, Janet and Judy Shea, who have been with Dot Art for over a decade! For three hours each class, children will play creatively and then enjoy their own ideas and skills with drawing, painting and collage. This is child centered learning environment offering a chance to explore materials in a friendly and inspiring art environment.
Located at The Walter Baker Lofts, 1231 Adams Street in Lower Mills section of Dorchester (side entrance at left of the building)
Tuition is $90 for each week and includes materials. Children bring their own lunch.
Classes limited to 12 students.

Four full week-long sessions of intensive art making!! Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
These week-long Art Intensives give children a chance to engage for five full days in creative exploration in a safe, nurturing environment. Choose one or more of the four sessions in August. Students will sketch outdoors in our courtyard; warm up with movement and stretching; work on larger scale art projects in drawing, painting or sculpture; participate in dialogues about their work and build memories to last for many years. There is a 20% sibling discount and Scholarships and Sliding Scale options are always available! Students bring their own lunch and wear clothes to get messy in! Dot Art will provide all the materials and some healthy snacks.
Session I, August 1st - 5th 9am - 5pm
Session II, August 8th - 12th 9am - 5pm
Session III, August 15th - 19th 9am - 5pm
Session IV, August 22nd - 26th 9am - 5pm

Saturday Open Studios. A drop-in Art laboratory for ages 3 - 10
Begins on September 26th!
With Lizzie Connolly, Art Therapy Intern and Cheryl Robinson, Dot Art’s Director of Programs
at The Little House in Savin Hill 275 East Cottage Street near JFK/UMass T
This is a weekly drop-in program for children age 3 - 10! A great activity for young artists to explore and create with an array of art materials for a full two hours from 10:30 - 12:30pm! Children age 3 - 5 can come with parents or caregivers and children age 5 - 10 can come alone. Lizzie Connolly of Lesley’s and, Dot Art’sProgram Director, artist Cheryl Robinson and our wonderful high school helpers encourage self expression and freedom in a safe and nurturing environment! Dot Art’s School Partnership Program


We are pleased to provide After-School art classes at The Henderson School, The Mather School and The Murphy School as well as 26 In-School art classes for The Lee Academy Pilot School and The Holmes School in Dorchester to provide quality programs in the visual arts. We are at the Henderson every Monday and Wednesday working with children from K2 - 4th grades to hone their skills in drawing, painting and sculpture. At our In-School programs at the Lee and Holmes we offer 13 classes per week to children from K0 - 2nd grade...over 400 children! Dot Art is proud to have also partnered with The Kenny, The Murphy and The Everett schools and others in Dorchester over our 17 year history in the neighborhood!
