2014 - April Vacation Program - Spring Classes - Workshops
April Vacation Program for ages 5 - 10
It’s a Big Zoo! Big Drawings and Big Paintings of Big Animals
Join us for four full days of creativity and fun April 22nd - April 25 from 9 - 5pm at the Walter Baker Lofts in Lower Mills.
Families can also sign up for just a half day program…mornings (9 - 12:30) or afternoons (1:30 - 5).
After a trip to Franklin Park Zoo on our first day, we’ll make large paintings and drawings of animals and creatures. In a nurturing and playful setting, children will learn concepts of design, drawing, color mixing and painting. Each child will leave with an impressive work of art to adorn their room…a mascot for the home! We’ll make time to play some games, read books and even have a guest artist visit the class. The cost of this full 32 hour program is $225 (approx $7 per hour) and includes all materials and healthy snacks. We ask that children bring a lunch! The half day program is 14 hours total and costs $110 (approx 8 per hour).
